Confused? Stuck? Where to begin?

Brave Hope Counseling is a place for adults to heal confusion, hurt, and other symptoms from a complicated relationship history. We’ve all done the best we could with what we’ve known and owe it to ourselves and everyone around us to live a compassionate, authentic, and meaningful life (that feels worth living).

I have a special focus on the needs of LGBTQIA+, D/deaf and hard-of-hearing, folks with disabilities, and others who have faced isolation or fear due to being who they are. I also particularly enjoy working with men who have recently left an emotionally difficult or abusive relationship and individuals whose profession puts them at high risk for secondary trauma (such as first responders, physicians, and many others).

When trauma happens or life changes occur (especially in the context of relationships), it is prime time for anxiety and feelings of hopelessness to spike. A lot of these feelings live in the body on deeper levels than what traditional talk therapy can access. I use a combination of talk therapy and somatic-based approaches to work with all the parts of you who are willing to show up, dig deep, and heal. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is an honor for me walk alongside you to get there.
